The Inn
Built in 1872, the inn has a rich history. During renovations, we discovered old newspapers used as insulation. Originally a boarding house for loggers, it later became home to the Andresen family. Over the years, it hosted the Kum-n-Dyne restaurant (pictured in 1939), various shops, and even school lunches when the schoolhouse was nearby. It became a bed and breakfast in 1991.
The guest cottages date back to the 1920s and 1930s. All three buildings saw modifications in the 1950s and 1960s. For curious guests, detailed property records from the mid-19th century are framed in the hallway. Recently, the cottages were fully renovated into three luxurious condos, perfect for families and guests seeking high-end finishes.
In 2023-2024, the Bed and Breakfast received major upgrades. Four rooms now have new bathrooms, along with fresh paint, updated bedding, and other thoughtful improvements.
