If the weather allows, we will be outdoors dining al fresco. There is always space for all of our guests and often extra seats for neighbors too. What is the ‘Toast the Season’ Wine Weekend at Glen Arbor B&B?

It’s a cross between adult summer camp and a swanky wine-drinking weekend in the north country. It’s great!

Day 1

Events begin Friday with Day One to use your event pass at any wineries you choose. We also partner with the three wineries in walking distance of the B&B for additional exclusive wine tasting. Bring a bottle back to the Inn to pair with a great dinner and dessert to share.

Day 2

The next morning, a delicious breakfast made by yours truly, the innkeeper. Then we load up in one or two chauffeured buses and begin a wine tasting adventure across Leelanau County. The ticketed event includes special pours of wine and a delectable food pairing from a local restaurant; each winery with a different offering. If you have a favorite that we don’t get to, you’re welcome to go back on Sunday and continue to use your event pass. Saturday is definitely the big-fun day. By the time we’re heading back to Glen Arbor, we’re typically all pretty exhausted. Fully worn-out and happy, we come back to the Inn for supper and a fire in the fireplace.

Day 3

Sunday morning we’ll have another big breakfast and some folks may start taking off on their own adventures, continue wine tasting and some will head home.

Speaking of money, we make this very affordable. Our season is quiet at that point, so our rooms are at their discounted fall rates of $180 – $265/night. The wine weekend package is $300 per person and includes apps, dessert, dinner, two breakfasts, the wine tour bus and the event ticket.

Also, we’ve had folks get together with their group of friends and do their private wine weekend or even midweek, and this has been a great success. Just something to keep in mind if midweek days work best for you.
