Welcome to the Glen Arbor Bed & Breakfast and Cottages
Striking furnishings in every room, suite and cottage, exceptional hospitality, delicious home cooked breakfasts, and thoughtful amenities assure your comfort. As featured in Midwest Living and on Good Morning America, the inn and cottages await you.
In the heart of the village and surrounded by the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, the inn is steps from Lake Michigan’s sugar sand beaches, inland lakes, towering sand dunes and country corners for exploring. Try all that is nearby: hiking, biking, golf, swimming, antiquing, wineries, canoeing, fishing, boutique shopping, galleries and much more.
A stay at the Glen Arbor Bed & Breakfast and Cottages is sure to make your days on the Leelanau Peninsula unforgettable.
We are delighted to be open for another wonderful season and are taking reservations every day. Check the Availability Calendar on the Reservations page to see if we still have a room or suite open for your minimum stay in the inn, or your longer cottage reservation. Reservations have been filling in fast for the entire season into the fall, so call now.
We are pleased to share with you that, beginning this year, we’ve added $1 per night to our tariff for all rooms, suites and cottages to support the exciting new Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail. In all, there will be 27 miles of non-motorized trails through the National Lake Shore for bikers, hikers, walkers and people of all physical abilities. Bike safely with the kids, run, walk or bring those skates. It is an extraordinary asset for all of us to enjoy.
Also adding to the special place that is the Leelanau Peninsula is the new Sleeping Bear Birding Trail, spanning M22 from Manistee to Traverse City including the entire circuit around the peninsula. Volunteers have produced an extensive database and map for birding observations from many, many public access points. See for yourself at http://sleepingbearbirdingtrail.org.
